Face Mask Fit Test

When it comes to Face Mask sizing, a proper fit is key to efficient filtration and prolonged comfort. There are a few tips and tricks to help fit your face mask properly. *See fig.2 below.

1. When applying your mask, place the top most part of the mask on the very top of your nose, then lower to cover your mouth and chin. Finish by fastening the strap(s) in a comfortable position. The top loop should sit above your ear and the bottom straps that tie together into a bow should sit at the nape of your neck.

TIP: If you feel pressure on the top of your nose, move the top strap upwards on your head.  Vice versa for pressure on the bottom of your chin.

How Should a Face Mask Fit?

How your mask fits is imperative to the filters’ ability to work effectively. Face masks should be a snug fit, without any gaps for unfiltered air to leak through.

Which size face mask do I need?

You will need to measure your face to figure out which size of face mask you need. For overhead strap masks we recommend the SM for adult women and the ML for adult men with large faces/beards. Our Ear-loop masks are adjustable and therefore one size should fit most adults.

 

How to measure face for mask?

1. First Measure from the bridge of your nose to about a little over an inch under your chin, this would be your reference for the first number on our size chart.

2. Next Measure distance between your cheekbones for the width of the mask
